Three Leeds United questions this week include was the Man United draw a missed opportunity?
Leeds United fought back to earn a point against rivals Manchester United on Sunday.
The Whites were up against it at Elland Road after Bryan Mbeumo slotted the Red Devils into a half-time lead.
But the ever reliable Dominic Calvert-Lewin restored parity early in the second half for Daniel Farke's men.
Leeds kept pressing probing, but ultimately went on to settle for a point in a 1-1 draw against Michael Carrick's side.
Leeds are consequently seventh in the table after seven games, and will now prepare for Sunday's trip to struggling Sunderland at the Stadium of Light this coming weekend.
But, before then, here are three questions on the minds of supporters picked out by MOT Leeds News over the past seven days.
Did Leeds miss an opportunity against Man United?
A point against Man United is normally nothing to be scoffed at.
But given the pressure Carrick and his side were under heading into the game, it felt like there was a real chance for Leeds in this one.
Leeds got dragged too much into the tetchiness and scrappiness in the first half, and were unable to assert themselves.
After the break, Farke's side were much more effective and deservedly grabbed a point.
You can't help but feel this game was there for the taking, though, and Leeds might just be kicking themselves a little bit they didn't take advantage of the turmoil at Old Trafford.
When will Daniel Farke sign his new Leeds contract?
Once again, Leeds fans were given a big update on the future of Farke on Friday.
It was reported that the outline of an agreement until the summer of 2029 has been agreed.
However, there are said to be a few issues still to sort before Farke can sign his renewal at Elland Road.
So, the question for now is, when will Farke actually sign his new contract?
It appears inevitable that it is happening, and with the Man Unite game out the way it surely will happen in the very near future.
Do Leeds lack an 'X-factor' in attack?
Leeds are one of the most physically dominant teams in the Premier League, and there have been times already this season when that has been hugely effective.
There are games, like the Newcastle United win, where they can bully their opponents into submission.
But in tighter games, do Leeds lack that X-factor in attack? Or is Farke reluctant to use the sparks they have?
It felt like the game was really there to be won on Sunday, and yet the likes of Harry Wilson and Jean-Matteo Bahoya were left twiddling their thumbs on the bench.
In his managerial career, Farke has often had mercurial talents such as Emi Buendia or Crysencio Summerville, but for some reason he appears reluctant to really roll the dice with players who could make a difference right now.
