Leeds United record signing Rodrigo has admitted that he is excited to work with Marcelo Bielsa after international duty.

The 29-year-old is currently away with Spain for their upcoming Nations League games with the likes of Germany before returning to West Yorkshire.

Rodrigo has admitted already that he has requested video clips of training sessions under Bielsa, so he can understand what to look forward too.

The Spanish forward was speaking to the press on international duty and highlighted his curiosity of working with El Loco next season.

"I have already asked for videos of Bielsa's training sessions, of his way of working," he told Onda Cero, via Leeds Live.

"I am very curious to know what he is like, I have asked colleagues who have had him and I am excited to work with him."

There is nothing quite like a Bielsa training session, and Rodrigo is surely set to find that out when watching the video analysis over international duty.

He will no doubt be watching the murderball sessions, something that Leeds will have been constantly performing in recent weeks at Thorp Arch.

Robin Koch also spoke about the infamous training sessions upon his arrival, claiming he had spoken to Mateusz Klich on what to expect - something he responded with just work and more work.

With Rodrigo arriving at Leeds less than a week before the season opener against Liverpool, he faces a race against time to prove his fitness to be involved in any capacity at Anfield.

He will have a good level of fitness coming from playing with Spain, but Bielsa fitness is on another level and we will wait and see.
