Leeds United attacker Raphinha's agent Deco was spotted with Barcelona president Joan Laporta despite links to the Premier League.

Camp Nou appeared to be the likeliest destination for the Brazilian over the past few weeks, but things have taken a twist with growing interest from London-based clubs.

It's understood that Arsenal tabled a bid for him which was rejected by Leeds and the player would prefer a move to Chelsea if Barcelona cannot meet his asking price. [Athletic]

As shared by Samuel Eto'o on Instagram, the former Premier League forward can be seen hanging out with Laporta and Deco.

Barcelona move on?

The duo certainly did not meet to catch up on old times and the agenda of their meeting would've been extremely clear.

Laporta would be aware of the growing interest in Raphinha and the fact that there are now bids being made for the Brazilian.

Raphinha has been a priority target for the Catalan Giants and they would not want to see him going to another club this summer.

Despite the lack of Champions League football, the Gunners are able to pay close to what Leeds want for the player - something Barcelona are struggling to do.

It's understood that Chelsea may also look to sign him now that their takeover is finished and they have restructured their board.

These are going to be a few interesting weeks for Leeds and they must ensure that they manage to make the most of the player's sale.
