A career in print magazines that included editing PC Zone, launching PokerPlayer and redesigning The Big Issue has finally led Dave to writing about the love of his life, Leeds United. It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

Leeds United fans still hold a soft spot for Pontus Jansson, despite the centre-back now starring for one of the club's closest promotion rivals.

When Jansson moved to Brentford it was seen as an odd move by many but they've been proven wrong.

Brentford are now the form team in the Championship and they've won all four of their games since lockdown.

Not only that, but they've won them to nil, including impressive victories against West Brom and Fulham.

Jansson obviously still holds a soft spot for his former club, too, and we think the dream for him would be for both sides to go up.

His latest Leeds interaction came after the latest #GjanniCam post from the club ahead of the game against Blackburn on Saturday.

In the latest clips of Alioski, the player is seen skidding around Ewood Park before giving the camera a big, "We are Leeds! We are Leeds! We are Leeds!"

Jansson replied to the tweet saying, "Haha, something is wrong with this guy" and adding three LOL emojis.

Alioski - please never change

Every changing room needs an Alioski. He's a joker off the pitch but a damn fine player on it.

He got a start on the left-wing for Leeds against Blackburn on Saturday and he's looked really bright since the season resumed.

Funnily enough, when Leeds players were asked who they would least like to be locked down with, Alioski's name kept cropping up.

He seemed a bit taken aback by that when told in an interview and we can't understand it either. At a time when boredom was setting in for a lot of people, we think Alioski would lighten up anyone's life.

He's firmly established himself as a fan favourite and we would love the chance to see him skidding around the famous Premier League grounds.

We imagine he might have something special lined up for the first return to Old Trafford next season if Leeds do go on to secure promotion.
