The last thing that Leeds United need right now is more loan players. With doubts surrounding Eddie Nketiah and Jack Clarke though, the Whites could be forced into action.

Goal reported on Wednesday that Liverpool have made both Rhian Brewster and Curtis Jones available for loans.

The news outlet claimed on their website that Leeds and Swansea City have both approached the European champions over a potential deal in the January transfer market.

With an approach reportedly on the table from both clubs, the Reds will need to consider both before making any decision.

The Sun journalist Alan Nixon delivered an update on the pursuit on Wednesday. Writing on his personal Twitter account, he claimed that Liverpool would need both players to be guaranteed minutes.

Nixon claimed that is unlikely that Leeds will tempt both players to Elland Road, and that Nketiah should stay at Elland Road.

The Arsenal loanee remaining in West Yorkshire would make any move for Brewster pointless. It would add an extra forward for Marcelo Bielsa to choose from when Patrick Bamford has cemented his spot.

Should Nketiah leave the club though, Liverpool would look at that and consider the fact that he left because of a lack of minutes and most likely put the block on any move for Brewster and Jones.

Either way, Leeds aren't really going to win. The most possible outcome after this update from Nixon is that both Brewster and Jones will either remain at Liverpool or move elsewhere.
