'Get in', 'Big plus' - Some Leeds fans thrilled with 'Massive' update on first-team star

Liam Cooper is ready and available for selection against Fulham this weekend and Leeds United fans on Twitter cannot wait to see the 28-year-old back in action.

Cooper has missed the last three mOKatches with a calf injury and although the Whites did manage to keep two clean sheets and win two games in that time, they did concede three late goals in the 3-3 draw with Cardiff at the weekend.

Leeds’ defence has been so solid all season but their collapse against Neil Harris’ side proved just how much they need Cooper back in the defence alongside Ben White.

Luckily, ahead of a massive match against Fulham at Craven Cottage this weekend, it seems that the Scotland international will be available.

Leeds United players attended Cash for Kids Mission Christmas on Wednesday and Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Lee Sobot has revealed what Cooper told him about his injury.

“Liam Cooper says he’s feeling good, has been training and available for selection against Fulham,” Sobot said via his personal Twitter account.

It’s a huge boost for Leeds and that is exactly what fans on Twitter are saying too.

Adam Forshaw has been out of action since September and this fan also wants to see the midfielder return, as well as Cooper, ahead of the busy festive schedule.

It would be great for Bielsa if he was to have a fully fit squad to choose from in the coming weeks.

In other Leeds United news, Ben Parker wants to see this player stay at Leeds past January.
