It’s been a tough 2020 but the single scariest moment was the first quarter of the game against Man City. Rodrigo will be the saviour this season.

Beating Leeds United is one thing. Winning your next game and the game after that is much tougher, as Chelsea have just found out.

Leeds fans will remember fondly what happened to Nottingham Forest after beating us 2-0 back in February in the Championship.

Forest fans were crowing about hauling back a double-digit lead that threatened to scupper Leeds United's promotion hopes.

However, they lost their next game and only won one in the next seven to shatter any promotion hopes they harboured.

Chelsea appear to be the latest side that have been broken by Leeds. Since beating Leeds 3-1, Chelsea have lost to Everton and again to Wolves last night.

Apart from a 2-0 loss to Liverpool, they're the only defeats they've suffered all season.

The Athletic's Chelsea journalist Simon Johnson certainly thinks it was the Leeds game that's done it.

He tweeted during the game, "I think #CFC are still getting their breath back from the energy and pace they used against Leeds. Not matched those levels against Everton and in the first half v Wolves."

Chelsea ending up losing 2-1 with Wolves coming on super-strong in the last 20 minutes as Lampard's men visibly wilted.

After the game, Lampard admitted that "fatigue has caught up with Chelsea".

So, can Leeds really take credit for breaking Lampard's side?

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was shocked after the Leeds v Chelsea game when he found out that Lampard's side had been the first team to out-run the Whites in the Premier League this season.

To do that, they had to run 11km more than their average.

Since then, Johnson claims their levels have dropped and that's led to zero points from the last six.

Leeds fans will love the fact that they might have exacted a certain form of revenge on Lampard after being out-classed and out-run at Stamford Bridge.

We hope that other teams take note and don't go the extra yards against us.

Don't do it Newcastle, it won't end well.
