MOT View: Aberdeen display v Rangers proves Ryan Edmondson will earn valuable minutes

Ryan Edmondson sealed a loan move to Aberdeen at the end of this week and was included on the bench in their clash with the Gers.

Edmondson came on for the last half-an-hour at Pittodrie and was starved of service - something that we hope will change soon.

This loan screams out that Aberdeen were desperate for an emergency style of transfer, with Edmondson surely struggling for minutes once Cosgrove and Main return to the first-team fold.

Leeds won't mind, as long as the 19-year-old earns some valuable minutes in the next month or so as Aberdeen look to start their campaign with a bang.
