Lucas Perri has not enjoyed the best starts to life at Torino this season.

The Brazilian left Leeds United after a long-winded transfer saga across the latest summer window.

Perri was set for a move to Turin, but it took weeks to finalise the agreement at Elland Road.

With Leeds eventually signing James Trafford as their new record-signing, Perri was given the green light to leave.

Marseille were also late suitors, something that helped the Whites push the option to buy to £13.5million in the loan.

But, things haven't started well for him.

Could Lucas Perri loan have started any worse?

After several high-profile mistakes last season, Daniel Farke decided to drop his new signing at the time.

Karl Darlow finished the season, but even after he left, Trafford was brought in as undisputed number one.

Now, mistakes have creeped into his game again.

Torino Granata has reported that Perri has specifically requested to train on days off at the club's facilities, something that was granted.

It's noted that the Brazilian has already made three errors in as many games, despite also making crucial saves in those.

On £65,000-a-week and no contribution from Leeds, that is said to weigh on Torino's budget heavily.

Is it make or break for Lucas Perri?

Monday sees Torino welcome Udinese in the Serie A.

There are six teams on four points in Italy, going from Udinese in 14th, to Fiorentina in second bottom.

Torino are in the middle of that, but should Perri help them to three points later, they could sneak to just below mid-table.

It's said that Perri is starting to look sharper from his extra training already, with it said he's more reactive, quicker and a better physical and mental shape behind him.

Now, it's time for him to prove that.

With his wages said to be a big financial commitment to Torino, it feels highly unlikely that they'd fork out £13.5m on his permanent signing next summer.

Especially with mistakes that are repeating themselves.

It's still early in the season, though, and should Perri improve with that and show a different side to his game, anything could happen.

Leeds will hope so, anyway.
