Lucas Perri: Things go from bad to worse for Leeds United loanee as 'many mistakes' continue

Lucas Perri is continuing to struggle away from Leeds United.

The shot-stopper joined Torino on a season-long loan, which also includes a buy option for the Serie A club.

The Italian outfit can buy the goalkeeper for £13.7million at the end of the season, but with the way things are going, they may not want to.

Perri initially came to Elland Road with the view of being Daniel Farke's number one keeper, but later lost his place to veteran Karl Darlow.

The Whites have since replaced the pair with James Trafford and Michael Zetterer, with the former costing Paraag Marathe and Co. £40m.

Perri has already had a bad start for Torino, but things are only getting worse for him over in Italy.

There were reports that Perri is having to do extra work in training on his distribution for Torino.

The Brazilian has already been blamed for several errors in his first three games for the club, as he's yet to keep a clean sheet since departing LS11.

The 28-year-old was signed by Torino to be their first-choice keeper, and his only competition is two teenagers and Franco Israel, who only played nine times in the league for the Serie A side last campaign.

Tuttomercatoweb provided a report of Torino's 1-1 draw against Bologna on Saturday, delivering the verdict on the Leeds loanee.

The Italian outlet wrote: "Many mistakes with the ball at his feet, often throwing in a lateral foul.

"On the goal, he can't null."

He was given a 5.5 rating, but the key part is that he is still struggling with the ball at his feet.

Perri picked up a 5.6 FotMob rating against Bologna, the second-worst of any player for his side.

The suggestion is that he could not have done anything about the goal, but he had a -0.88 goals prevented statistic emerge from the match.

It was the only shot that Perri had to save.

Perri transfer reveal not good news for Leeds

Leeds would do well to get £13.7m back for Perri, and would only lose a fraction of the price it took to bring him to Elland Road last summer.

However, his market value is currently only going in one direction, and it's getting worse at Torino.

Transfermarkt now have his value at £8.5m, and Torino may feel like they would currently be overpaying for the goalkeeper, making it likely that they would not opt to sign him permanently.
