Leeds United target and Standard Liege midfielder Nicolas Raskin reportedly wants to move to the Premier League in January.

According to Voetbal Nieuws [December 20], while the 21-year-old would want to join a club in the English top flight, thus far the Whites remain the only team keen on pursuing his services.

Raskin is set to leave Standard Liege in January after falling out with the club as he failed to pen an extension with his deal running out at the end of the season.

Klich replacement?

Mateusz Klich's future hangs in the balance and he looks no closer to signing a new deal at Elland Road with a move looking very likely.

Having missed out on the World Cup due to the lack of first-team football, the Pole would want it to happen again for the Euros in 2024.

DC United appear to be the likely destination and he's now expected to leave the club and it will be a major surprise if he's at Leeds in February.

Raskin is a good replacement for Klich as he's over 10 years younger than him and according to the report above, has a "great" resale value as well.

That's important for a club like Leeds, especially in the way they're currently operating, as they've lost their best players for significant sums of money.

The Belgian midfielder does appear to be one with huge potential and it's on Jesse Marsch and the coaches at Leeds to help him realise it if he does end up moving to West Yorkshire.
