Leeds United player power rankings: Ao Tanaka jumps straight in, new signing top already
Leeds United have enjoyed a solid start to the new Premier League season.
With the extended international break now underway, Daniel Farke will be reflecting on a really positive opening round of fixtures.
Leeds are currently fifth, unbeaten after five games with two wins.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has picked up where he left off with goals, with new signings also settling extremely quickly.
Tarik Muharemovic and James Trafford have been sensational after arriving for almost £75million, as the 49ers went for quality.
With the first bank of fixtures done, MOT Leeds News have started their power rankings below...
5 - Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Sneaking into the top five is our England international.
Many had Calvert-Lewin down as a striker who may only shine for one season at Elland Road, but he's already proven that wrong.
Two goals against Newcastle, where he absolutely terrorised their experienced defence put that to bed.
Let's hope he continues that with England.
4 - Ao Tanaka
It's hard to pick out many players who are loved more by Leeds fans that the Japanese midfielder.
Looking back, Tanaka himself admitted that he thought about leaving and was linked with an exit last January.
Now, he's a consistent starter for Farke and is running himself into the ground every single week.
There's absolutely no way he can be dropped right now, and if anything, Anton Stach should be looking over his shoulder.
3 - James Trafford
A record signing for around £40million, and he's been worth every single penny already.
Not many players come to Elland Road and get it instantly, but Trafford has done that and clearly loves the fans and being here.
Playing every week in the Premier League and going back to the England camp, nobody as conceded fewer goals than him.
He also has the best save rate, so to those who were questioning his worth, think again.
2 - Jayden Bogle
One word, wow.
Bogle has been sensational since signing for Sheffield United for only £5million, but somehow, he's become even better this season.
Having Joe Rodon or James Justin behind him as allowed him to stay forward more than he defends, and he's often the one popping up alongside Calvert-Lewin in the box.
A goal at Brighton and almost another against Newcastle proves just how effective he has been, and will continue to be in the final third.
It's just another weapon that makes this system so dangerous.
1 - Tarik Muharemovic
This has not only been the signing of the summer at Leeds, but possibly in the entire Premier League so far.
Everybody was worried when Leeds decided to sell Pascal Struijk, but the biggest compliment you can pay Muharemovic, is that we haven't felt that loss.
Of course, that isn't to mean we wouldn't have loved to keep Struijk, but our big Bosnian has an enormous ceiling.
Muharemovic is one of those players you know probably won't be in LS11 long-term, but he will go for big, big money eventually.
What a signing he's been.
