Leeds United are in great mood right now in the Premier League.

Monday's 4-1 smashing of Newcastle was the cherry on top, after difficult games against Nottingham Forest, Brentford and Brighton.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin was once again the star of the show, officially scoring one, but thinking it was two.

Jayden Bogle was awarded his first so-called goal, with his header appearing to glance the defender on the way through.

Calvert-Lewin couldn't believe it at the time, and Leeds appear to have challenged that verdict already.

What have Leeds done with Premier League?

After the reaction to the 'goal' dominated headlines, it appears that could continue into the week.

Calvert-Lewin was convinced it was his goal, with Bogle himself even admitting he knew nothing about it.

Now, Leeds have made an official appeal to the Premier League.

Ian Dennis of the BBC has reported that a second panel will get together to determine the goalscorer.

It's said Calvert-Lewin still believes it's his goal, despite a first Premier League panel handing it to Bogle.

What does this mean for Leeds United?

In all honestly, very little.

Bogle will clearly have been consulted, as he would have felt somewhat undermined if this was done behind his back.

While a running joke, scoring goals is a serious business for Calvert-Lewin, and keeping his confidence high will only serve Leeds and Farke very well for the future.
