Leroy Rosenier believes that Leeds United 2021 summer target Conor Gallagher is set to leave Chelsea this summer.

The Englishman spent last season out on loan at West Brom and this term he's thriving under Patrick Vieira at Crystal Palace.

There have been calls for him to be a first-team player at the Blues next campaign and in case that doesn't happen, Rosenier, a Sky Sports pundit, sees him leaving for good.

Speaking on Premier League Productions' Analysis Show, he said, "Gallagher's had a great season for Palace. I do not see him warming the bench at Chelsea. I think he's set to leave for another Premier League club."

Leeds were linked with the Englishman last summer as they looked to bring in a central midfielder.

The Whites were eyeing a loan move for the 22-year-old, but he ended up moving to Palace [Football.London].

However, they must now reignite their interest in the player if he actually is set to leave in the summer.

Gallagher ticks all the boxes for what type of midfield Leeds want.

He's combative, technical and is a menace in the final third as he's got the ability to score and set up chances on a plate for the attackers.

The Leeds side have looked clueless in the middle third all season and he could address that problem by helping Kalvin Phillips in bringing the ball out from defence.

He's a younger and better option than Adam Forshaw and Leeds must do whatever they can to sign him.
