Leeds United in agent talks with Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara - report

Leeds United have spoken to the agents of Marseille midfielder Boubacar Kamara ahead of a potential move, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper has reported on their website that the French club are looking to sell one of their star men for £10million before the end of this month.

That is because Kamara is out of contract in the summer, with the Whites, Aston Villa and Newcastle all said to be taking an interest.

Leeds are crying out for a central midfielder, that has been made very clear over the weekend.

Mateusz Klich was the only available midfielder in the squad against Newcastle, and that saw the Whites simply struggle to string together any meaningful passes through the middle of the park.

With Adam Forshaw and Kalvin Phillips out injured, a new face or two would go a huge way to helping Marcelo Bielsa.

Bargain.

This would simply be too good of a deal to pass down for Leeds.

Victor Orta has to get this one across the line, with Brenden Aaronson at RB Salzburg simply looking like a lost cause at this stage of the window.

Kamara is available and could be a steal at £10million with the world really being his oyster at this stage of his career.

The 22-year-old has been a regular in the French youth international sides and will know Illan Meslier from his time there.

One phone call between those two and Kamara would be hellbent on a move to West Yorkshire, there is nowhere better to play your football.
