Leeds are desperate to welcome Manchester United to Elland Road on Sunday afternoon.

It's been a solid start to the Premier League season for the Whites, only suffering their first defeat at Arsenal on Saturday.

Daniel Farke's men took the lead at the Emirates, before two goals from the champions saw it finish 2-1.

Leeds took immense pride from their performance, and will look to bounce back against their fierce, yet wounded rivals.

Michael Carrick is hanging on at Old Trafford, with Tuesday's 2-0 defeat at Atletico Madrid kickstarting a player revolt.

With the Red Devils at each others throats, MOT Leeds News has looked at what starting XI could take advantage of that.

Will Daniel Farke make changes?

Nothing immediately jumps out, given just how well Leeds are playing right now in this system.

James Trafford should start again despite a small error at the Emirates, with the club-record signing finally finding a home in LS11.

This will be his first taste of this amazing fixture, alongside Tarik Muharemovic, who will both relish the atmosphere.

Nico Elvedi should also start and be involved in this fixture for the first time, with the Swiss star not putting a foot wrong, yet.

Finishing the back three will likely be James Justin, who has found a real home on the right of that defence and Jayden Bogle ahead of him.

Then, it could be Gabriel Gudmundsson, with the width he and Bogle provide critical to take advantages of spaces in the final third with their non-stop running.

Could Manchester United sack Michael Carrick as Leeds lick their lips?

Do Leeds have one of best midfields in Premier League?

If not one of the best, it's certainly the most under-rated.

Ethan Ampadu will captain the side, having missed this exact fixture through suspension last season at Elland Road.

He should have Ao Tanaka alongside him, with his non-stop running and pressing surely going to cause this Man United side serious trouble with how they're playing.

Anton Stach playing further forward allows for more physicality and forward-facing pressure when on and off the ball, too.

It's no surprise that Dominic Calvert-Lewin will likely lead the line, with his best friend within the squad, Noah Okafor playing wider on the left.

One change in Leeds squad is obvious?

Dan James missed out at Arsenal with a small injury, but he is loved by Farke, everybody knows that.

It would be no surprise to see him come straight back onto the bench.

Ilia Gruev has been praised for his "incredible" work off the pitch at Leeds, but it's hard to see a spot for him in the main matchday squad.

Sean Longstaff and Brenden Aaronson can cover several roles in midfield from the bench, with James' pace likely to see him take Gruev's spot against his former side.
