Andy Townsend was not impressed by Junior Firpo's tame ball in the first half of Leeds United v Manchester City.

The Spain international had a decent game playing as a left wing-back but made a needless pass in the first half of the contest.

This saw the Citizens hitting Leeds on the break and left them vulnerable to conceding a goal.

On the Premier League world feed, the Sky Sports pundit said, "That's a woeful pass there by Firpo. Look at the players around. Silly decision."

Good return

Firpo may have been wrong in this instance, but overall, he had quite a stellar game for the Whites.

He performed his role exceptionally and the wing-back position actually masked some of his flaws.

He is impressive going forward but not that good on the defensive side of things.

However, with the additional cover at the back, he does have the licence to move forward and combine with the attackers.

Hopefully, we see more of the same from him in the coming weeks as he's fighting for his Leeds career.

His summer move has clearly not worked out as many thought it would and something needs to improve quickly.

With Burnley going on an unreal run of form, Leeds are right back in the relegation picture.

Marsch needs a quick turn in fortune and they must try to pick up a win from either Arsena or Chelsea.
