Jayden Bogle sustained a foot injury in Leeds United's draw with Bournemouth according to Daniel Farke.

The 25-year-old was substituted at half-time against the Cherries on Wednesday evening, being replaced by Joe Rodon with James Justin being pushed out to the right flank.

A crazy second-half would follow at the Vitality Stadium, with four goals scored in a 2-2 draw laden with twists and turns as well as some VAR controversy.

In the end, Sean Longstaff's 97th-minute equaliser saw the Whites take a massive point back up to West Yorkshire, and one that has now pretty much guaranteed themselves of Premier League safety.

So, with just four league games to go, Leeds now sit on that magic 40 points number, and have extended the gap to 18th-placed Tottenham to nine points.

What has Daniel Farke said about Jayden Bogle injury?

Perhaps one of Leeds' most underrated players of the season so far, Bogle has started 30 of his 32 Premier League appearances in 2025-26, and has proven he's a reliable starting option at right-back/right wing-back.

However, Bogle didn't play well against Bournemouth, with a first-half display that saw him be largely wasteful in possession and struggling to win his individual battles down the right side.

The former Sheffield United man didn't seem right at all against the Cherries, and it appeared as though he was struggling with a problem before the interval.

And, speaking in his post-match press conference, Farke has now confirmed that this was indeed the case, meaning his decision to hook him at half-time perhaps wasn't a tactical one.

As quoted via LeedsLive, Farke said that Bogle: "took a hit on his foot."

We don't yet know anything more regarding the severity of the injury, and whether or not his status for Sunday's huge FA Cup semi-final with Chelsea is in doubt.

Farke won't have any issue swapping Bogle for Justin if needed

As aforementioned, it was Justin who took up Bogle's position on the right with Rodon tucking into his usual centre-back role from the bench.

Once again, Justin was excellent on Wednesday night, as he has been for the majority of the season whenever he's been called upon.

He's proven to be a very shrewd acquisition by Leeds indeed, capable of operating anywhere across the defence and even into midfield.

Therefore, should Bogle be unable to play against Chelsea on Sunday, Farke won't have any qualms whatsoever about starting the 28-year-old at right-back/right wing-back.
