Leeds United will part ways with 10 first-team stars for the international break.

Daniel Farke has had a hugely positive start to the campaign at Elland Road.

Some performances have been top-class, summed up by the 4-1 victory over Newcastle United.

That sees the Whites go into the extended break in fifth, level on points with Brentford in the Champions League qualification spots.

All 10 will hope to do well, but it feels as though Bijol has a point to prove above the rest.

The 27-year-old has faced a completely different season to last time around.

He featured 31 times in his debut campaign after his £15million move, but has only followed that up with two starts this time around.

Farke has shown favour to Elvedi since his summer move, leaving the ex-Udinese man to regularly watch from the bench.

That is why the international break will come at a good time as it gives him chance to feature more than he would have in LS11.

Should he put in some top performances for his nation, those at Elland Road will surely sit up and take notice.
