Leeds United are riding the wave of their brilliant start to the Premier League season.

Currently unbeaten in the league, the Whites are sitting third with only one game to go until the extended international break.

Crystal Palace are next at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon.

Daniel Farke has settled on his squad, and that starting side is repaying him massively.

Leeds smashed Newcastle 4-1 at Elland Road on Monday, a week after going to Brighton and dominating for large spells.

With that joy, though, comes players who won't be too happy.

MOT Leeds News has picked out three who will want their fortunes to change sooner rather than later.

Harry Wilson needs to prove himself soon

Excitement was sky-high when Leeds finally managed to get the signing of the winger over the line this summer.

12 months on from failing to sign him, Wilson just had the season of his life in the Premier League with Fulham.

Starting on the opening day against Nottingham Forest, he managed to score, but was offside.

Since then, he hasn't started in the three other league games, instead coming off the bench late on.

Anton Stach has been pushed further forward, but with the German not exactly thriving, while Ao Tanaka does, there could be a spot waiting there for Wilson soon.

Jean-Matteo Bahoya must be patient

Leeds fans aren't happy that they haven't seen the new French winger yet.

Farke doesn't just hand minutes out to anybody, though, you have to earn them, with Wilson and Brenden Aaronson preferred off the bench on Monday.

Fans couldn't understand why Bahoya wasn't given a chance with Leeds four goals ahead at the time, but everyone just needs to be patient.

His time will come.

Leeds defence sparks surprise changes

The third unhappy face in the squad may be Jaka Bijol.

After finally being introduced last season, the towering defender looked right at home in the middle of a back three.

Now, it's all change.

Even with Joe Rodon injured, James Justin has been preferred in the right of the three, which allows him to bomb forward.

Tarik Muharemovic is a guaranteed starter on the left, while Nico Elvedi has been preferred by Farke over Bijol.

The gaffer described him as a "fantastic human being" last season ahead of the home clash with Wolves, but this season has seen him drop down.

With plenty of football still to play and injuries likely, Bijol, Wilson and Bahoya will get their chances eventually.

Now, it's all about proving themselves when they can.
