Gabby Agbonlahor can't help but laugh at Leeds fan's message Alan Brazil shared about Man United on talkSPORT
Leeds United fans never miss a chance to stick the boot in to Manchester United when the chance arises.
The Red Devils have been shambling their way through the 2026/27 season under Michael Carrick.
Indeed, the Man United manager is a man under immense pressure following another disappointing outing on Wednesday.
Carrick's side were thumped 4-1 at Como in the Champions League, after which Bruno Fernandes questioned the manager's tactics for the game.
Leeds missed the opportunity to pile more misery on last weekend, as they could only earn a 1-1 draw with their cross-Pennines rivals at Elland Road.
But that does not mean the ever-switched on Leeds fans will miss an opportunity to stick the boot in, as happened on talkSPORT on Thursday morning (22 October).
Alan Brazil shares Leeds fan's quip about Man United
Another man feeling the strain at Old Trafford is director of football Jason Wilcox.
Wilcox, of course, is a former Leeds player, who turned his hand to technical roles after his playing days.
Lisandro Martinez aimed a dig at Wilcox following his side's defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League last week.
And several pundits have question some of the work undertaken by Man United in the summer transfer window.
Leeds fans are revelling in the misery, though, and one supporter texted into the talkSPORT breakfast show on Thursday.
Alan Brazil read it out live on air, and co-host Gabby Agbonlahor couldn't help but chuckle at what he heard.
Brazil mere said: "'Congratulations agent Wilcox', honestly the Leeds fans are diving in here!"
Leeds fans should soak up Man United misery
Leeds fans are absolutely right to taking jibes right now.
Okay, sure, they didn't quite get the home win they were looking for, but right now they're looking down at their rivals in the table.
If you can't enjoy that, then quite frankly what can you enjoy? It's what makes football so wonderful.
And there is no disguising the fact that while Leeds are going through a real period of progression, Carrick and Co. are in a real mess on and off the pitch.
Obviously, the main focus has to be on what Leeds do on the pitch.
But, if there's a chance to catch some strays at the same time, then why not do it, eh?
