Diego Martinez is reportedly a wanted man in Spain, but he's understood to be unwilling to join them as he waits for the Leeds United job.

According to Spanish media outlet Diario De Cadiz, La Liga outfit Cadiz are the latest club to want him and the likes of Getafe and Levante have also been keen on appointing them.

However, he has shown no interest in joining a club in his home country and has spent a lot of time in England watching the Premier League as he appears destined to take over the Elland Road hot seat after Marcelo Bielsa leaves.

Good appointment?

Martinez has got solid credentials and he was the first manager to guide Granada to European football.

Clearly, that is seen as the next milestone for Leeds as well, but the Premier League is an entirely different ball game.

There are doubts over Bielsa's future at the club and he gives little away about it, given the fact that he only signs one year deals.

However, the general mood around Elland Road suggests that this very well could be his last season at the club.

While it makes sense for Leeds to plan for life without the Argentine, there are doubts about whether Martinez would be the right man to take the club forward,

It remains to be seen what decision Andrea Radrizzani and co eventually make as it's a big step and could go awfully wrong if done incorrectly.
