Dan James has arrived at Carrow Road with the Leeds United squad ahead of Sunday's (12 May) Championship play-off first leg with Norwich City.

The Wales international was among the travelling Leeds contingent that arrived around 90 minute before kick-off, as confirmed by Leeds Live reporter Beren Cross via X [12 May].

James has not played since the 4-3 win over Middlesbrough on 22 April due to injury, which was expected to rule him out beyond this season.

Connor Roberts was also part of the Leeds squad, with the starting line-up due to be confirmed at 11am.

Where to watch Norwich City v Leeds United

The time for talking is over as the play-off semi-finals are now upon us.

Leeds would have much preferred to have done things the easy way, of course, by going up automatically. But where is the fun in that?

Instead, a semi-final double-header with Norwich awaits - the return leg is set for Elland Road in four days' time - which can be watched live on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Main Event.

That will hopefully be followed by a trip to Wembley to face either West Brom or Southampton.

Having as many options as possible is imperative to Daniel Farke, and the return of James may well come in handy across these - hopefully - next three games.

It is also good to hear that Roberts is fit after suggestions earlier in the week that he may be carrying an injury of his own.

Let's just hope Farke gets his team selection and tactics spot on at Carrow Road so that Leeds can return to Yorkshire with some sort of advantage.
