Leeds United travelled to Burnley this afternoon looking for their first Premier League win of the season.

Marcelo Bielsa was forced into two changes to his Premier League side, with Rodrigo and Diego Llorente returning.

The Spanish attacker has been a big talking point since joining from Valencia, with many expecting much more than he has delivered.

There were numerous occasions where Leeds could have broken forward in the first half but Rodrigo kept misplacing his pass.

Alan Smith was on Sky Sports commentary duty at Turf Moor, and he wasn't left impressed with his efforts.

"That was careless from Rodrigo that one," he bemoaned.

Not good enough?

This is a question we find ourselves asking on far too many occasions when watching our record signing.

Some would argue that he isn't playing in his natural position, and being forced into the number 10 role rather than the loan striker is affecting his performances.

We know he has what it takes to succeed, he has shown that on numerous occasions, including at Burnley last season with that quickfire double.

The biggest problem is clearly consistency, and we're just hoping that comes sooner rather than later or this could end up being one everyone lives to regret.

Hopefully, that change can come soon and Rodrigo finally starts finding his feet and makes this season one to remember.
