They didn't beat Brentford but they should have done. They were easily the better side at Griffin Park and that point and performance should put the pep back in their step.
Leeds fans were looking for a big display from Kalvin Phillips on his return from suspension and they got it.
He was absolutely immense tonight and completely dominated the middle of the field.
Brentford's midfield three were almost invisible and this is the difference Phillips can make to the side.
He's been a massive miss but Leeds look a completely different side with him in the holding midfield position.
Plenty of Leeds fans recognised his contribution today, with one saying he was "easily the man of the match" while another said he was "absolutely superb".
The point keeps Leeds second and Nottingham Forest lost which was a big bonus.
Fulham can go second with a win tomorrow but this felt like a new Leeds tonight and fans were happy with the result and especially the display of Phillips.
A win against Bristol City on Saturday and the blip might, just might, be over.
