'One of the worst signings in our history; Sack him' – Many Leeds fans savage player v Brentford

Leeds United fans don’t need telling what the two big problems are at the moment.

The curse in front of goal is still going strong despite Liam Cooper stabbing the ball home to equalise at Griffin Park tonight.

By that time Jack Harrison had already missed another sitter.

The biggest issue is what’s going on at the other end.

Plenty of Leeds fans were calling for Kiko Casilla to be dropped before this game and he made the biggest mistake of a terrible season at Griffin Park tonight.

After 25 minutes Casilla let a simple back pass get away from him and it left Brentford with a simple tap-in.

Our exclusive columnist Paul Robinson has defended Casilla up to this point but we’d be very surprised if this wasn’t the end for the goalkeeper as the club’s number one.

He was to blame for the goal against Wigan that lost us the game. He was to blame for the first goal against Nottingham Forest and he was absolutely to blame for Brentford’s goal tonight.

Leeds aren’t scoring enough goals to give teams a one-goal headstart each game.

Casilla’s head appears to have completely gone – he almost gifted Brentford another goal in the second half – and as you can imagine, the Leeds fans are apoplectic. They want one thing – Casilla’s head.

Illan Meslier has only had one game for Leeds, the FA Cup game against Arsenal, but he looked magnificent there and it’s definitely time for him to come into the first team.

Casilla has lost the confidence of the fans and he must have lost the confidence of his teammates.

Here are the best of the reactions from disbelieving Leeds fans…
