Pascal Struijk to fear for Leeds future after Ladislav Krejci transfer talk
Leeds United stalwart Pascal Struijk could fear for his future after the Whites were linked with Wolves sensation Ladislav Krejci.
The Czech defender has been one of the most promising talents in the Premier League this season, despite Rob Edwards’ side sitting at the bottom of the table.
The Dutchman has been a key player for the Elland Road side this season, making 30 appearances in the top-flight.
A report from Express and Star on 19 April claimed that Daniel Farke‘s side holds a “strong interest” in Krejci.
In an ideal world, Leeds would keep hold of Struijk, but he may well end up concerned about the Peacocks’ intentions for him, given that they are looking at the Molineux star.

What is Struijk’s contract situation at Leeds?
Struijk has just over a year left on his Leeds deal, which makes his future uncertain, especially with links to Krejci.
His current contract runs out in the summer of 2027, meaning he could leave for free if a new one is not sorted.

They may decide to sell him, if a £40million windfall is on the cards, rather than handing him fresh terms on a higher wage.
Why Struijk may be fearful about Leeds future amid Krejci links
Krejci is the same age as Struijk, both players are 26, and he has adapted to English football brilliantly, so he would be an ideal replacement for the LS11 star, if a departure happens.
Given that there is interest in the Whites star from the likes of Tottenham, Aston Villa and Newcastle United, with a potential fee of £40million being touted, an exit may well be facilitated.
With the former Netherlands Under-17 star’s contract situation and the interest in the Old Gold ace, he could start to get nervous about where he stands in Yorkshire.
| Struijk’s stats vs Krejci (League) | Struijk | Krejci |
| Matches | 30 | 26 |
| Tackles per game | 1.1 | 1.0 |
| Balls recovered per game | 3.5 | 2.8 |
| Clearances per game | 6.3 | 4.2 |
| Ground duels won | 57% | 41% |
| Aerial duels won | 56% | 56% |
It would be a damn shame if they allowed the 191-appearance star to leave, as his whole senior career has been with the Peacocks, and he has the potential to be a one-club man, as he has shown he can perform at the top level consistently.
They may be preparing an opportunistic move for the Wolves man, as a extra man, but it is an interesting one with Struijk’s situation still up in the air.
