Noah Okafor won’t believe Leeds United situation as Mohamed Amoura deal lined up
Noah Okafor could potentially see his starting spot under threat if Leeds United sign VfL Wolfsburg forward Mohamed Amoura in the upcoming transfer window.
The Switzerland international got a brace as the Whites beat Manchester United 2-1 at Old Trafford for the first time since 2010.
Despite the former AC Milan star’s heroics at Elland Road this season, it looks like the West Yorkshire outfit have plans to replace him.
Daniel Farke could sign Amoura at the Peacocks in the summer for around £26million, leaving Okafor to fight for his position in the starting lineup.
Fans will expect 49ers Enterprises to invest heavily after Premier League survival in the current campaign, but that may lead to uncertain futures for some stars in LS11.

Mohamed Amoura can pip Noah Okafor in Leeds United pecking order
Amoura has been brilliant in the Bundesliga over the last few seasons, scoring 18 goals and providing 16 assists in 57 league appearances.
The Algeria international has played down the left a lot in the current campaign, taking 2.2 shots per game and creating seven big chances, as per Sofascore
On average, the 25-year-old has played one key pass per game and has won two penalties for Wolfsburg.

With all eight of Amoura’s goals coming from inside the box this season, he has been a real poacher for the German club and could partner Dominic Calvert-Lewin admirably at Elland Road down the left.
That would certainly leave Okafor reeling, and he may not be able to believe his situation at the West Yorkshire outfit in the upcoming campaign if the Whites end up signing the Algerian attacker.
Daniel Farke has set precedent at Elland Road
Ao Tanaka was exceptional for Leeds last season, but the Japan international has barely got a look-in in the starting lineup since Premier League promotion.
The midfielder’s diminishing prospects at Elland Road highlight that Farke isn’t afraid to drop players who were once considered instrumental.

While Okafor has done well in his debut campaign in LS11, he should know that a place in the team isn’t guaranteed in the future.
All the Swiss forward can do is put his head down and continue to contribute whenever called upon by the German head coach.
