Leeds United will be ready to entertain big Pascal Struijk offer, sale was on cards last summer
Leeds United may be willing to part ways with Pascal Struijk in the upcoming transfer window.
According to The Athletic on 11 May, the Whites decided not to sell the centre-back after receiving an offer for him in late August.
The news outlet reports that sources at the top of the West. Yorkshire outfit admit that had the same offer arrived in June, they would have entertained it.
It’s been claimed that the Peacocks didn’t want to lose the 26-year-old fan-favourite in the final few days of last summer’s transfer window, but it certainly indicates that they’re willing to sell him for the right price, which could potentially be tabled in the coming months.
Daniel Farke has relied on Struijk to be one of the pillars of his defence this season, but the German manager could potentially be working at Elland Road without the Dutchman in the 2026-27 campaign.

Leeds United vulnerable to Pascal Struijk exit
Struijk’s contract at Leeds enters its final year in July, leaving them susceptible to losing him for free at the end of next season.
If the Whites can’t tie the defender down to a new deal at Elland Road, it would make sense to cash in on him in the summer.
| Premier League Statistics | Pascal Struijk |
| Appearances | 32 |
| Clean sheets | 6 |
| Tackles per game | 1.1 |
| Clearances per game | 6.3 |
| Total duels won per game | 5.2 (56%) |
It remains to be seen how much the West Yorkshire outfit will be able to demand for the Dutchman, given his contractual situation, but his Premier League experience and age should count in their favour.
Struijk has been a loyal servant for the Peacocks over the years, but he certainly has the quality to play for a top team in the Champions League.
Daniel Farke to push for bargain Pascal Struijk replacement
Leeds want to sign Danilho Doekhi once his contract expires at Union Berlin at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old Dutch centre-back can surely bring in a lot of quality at Elland Road after some impressive seasons in the Bundesliga.

Farke’s only concern may be the fact that Struijk is left-footed, while Doekhi is right-footed, and it remains to be seen whether the German manager will push to sign someone else.
With Premier League safety guaranteed at the Peacocks, they have a massive few months coming up, with multiple additions and departures probably on the cards.
