Leeds United told how much it would have cost to sign Manor Solomon from Tottenham – ‘That was it’
Leeds United were constantly linked with Tottenham’s Manor Solomon last summer.
The Israeli winger spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Elland Road, exciting supporters every week with his directness in the Championship.
He notched 10 goals and 12 assists in a brilliant Championship campaign, helping the Peacocks earn promotion to the Premier League.
The winger was understood to be available permanently in the summer, but Daniel Farke‘s side did not sign him, which was a surprising move.
Leeds not adding Solomon to their ranks is even more bizarre after a new reveal on how much he would have cost.

Tottenham expert reveals how much Leeds could have paid for Solomon
Tottenham expert John Wenham claimed that Leeds would have only had to pay £10million to sign Solomon permanently.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, he said: “Tottenham weren’t asking for a lot.
| Solomon’s stats at Leeds | Championship |
| Matches | 39 |
| Goals | 10 |
| Assists | 12 |
| Chances created | 67 |
| Minutes played | 2,607 |
“Tottenham wanted £10million, that was it, and it just never happened.”
Why did Leeds not buy him for that price?
Leeds must have thought that Noah Okafor was a better option for the left flank and then decided to spend their budget on other areas of the squad.
That decision has paid off, as the Swiss ace has returned seven goals and three assists in the top-flight, playing a key part in the Whites’ survival hopes.
It would have been interesting to see what Solomon could have done with the Yorkshire outfit in the division, but considering his best goal tally in England’s highest league is four, he probably would not have been better than Okafor.

It seems safe to say that the hierarchy in LS11 made the right move last summer, as they look like they are going to stay at the elite level in their first season back.
Fans will always admire the 26-year-old for his help in getting them back where they belong, but he is not needed now, and it is probably for the best that they did not sanction the move at the time.
Both parties have moved on; once a move did not materialise, and it seems to have worked out for all involved in the saga, as the player is thriving on loan at Fiorentina in Italy now.
