Leeds United eye quadruple Wolves swoop as £35m Andre bid under consideration

Leeds United are reportedly not slowing down on adding to their transfer shortlist this summer, with relegated Wolves at the core of their plans with links to Andre emerging.

The Whites look in good stead to stay in the Premier League, with relegation from 40 points with four games to go portraying itself as nothing but a disaster.

Form and performances suggest that Daniel Farke’s side have nothing to worry about, and the Elland Road outfit should be safe.

But for next season, the German will not want to be embroiled in another relegation fight, and that can be avoided with smart signings.

Ahead of Leeds’ summer window, they are now reportedly considering Wolves midfielder Andre as the price of a bid has been outlined.

What has been said about Leeds’ interest in Andre?

Andre has been touted to leave Wolves for many months, with Manchester United at the fore of that interest.

The midfielder is highly rated and is ultimately a better player than the Championship level would provide him. However, now Leeds could be his next club.

According to Brazilian outlet RTI Esporte, Leeds are “considering submitting an offer of £35million” for the Wolves midfielder this summer.

The Whites’ interest in the Brazil international makes him the fourth Old Gold star to be linked with a move to Elland Road.

Leeds are touted to be in for Ladislav Krejci; meanwhile, a double swoop for both Hugo and Santiago Bueno could happen too.

Despite their relegation, Farke has clearly been impressed with plenty of the players under Rob Edwards.

In the winter window, Leeds had also looked to sign then-Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.

Leeds must be careful with signing too many Wolves players

While teams getting relegated can often bring about multiple bargains and market opportunities, the Whites must be careful in their pursuit of four Wolves players.

At the end of the day, the Molineux side have got relegated and have never looked like staying in the Premier League.

Signing the core base of that squad may not be a smart idea, even if they could all perform better in a different environment.

The Whites should keep any acquisitions from the Midlands outfit to a minimum, with a maximum threshold of two signings.

Nonetheless, Andre is a highly capable passer of the ball and would add plenty of strength and depth to Farke’s side.
