Largie Ramazani’s ‘attitude was the final straw’ as Leeds United loanee set to return from Valencia

Largie Ramazani looks certain to return to Leeds United ahead of the summer window, with the winger doing himself no favours.

The Whites sent the Belgian out on loan to La Liga, with Daniel Farke unable to provide him the game time he would have been looking for.

His time in East Spain has not been too fruitful, averaging just 46 minutes per appearance for the Black and Whites.

For months, it looked like Ramazani was set to stay at Valencia permanently, with a run of form changing minds at Mestalla.

However, ahead of Leeds’ summer window, the loanee is his own worst enemy in that regard, as he has seemingly sabotaged that prospect.

What has happened with Largie Ramazani at Valencia?

Ramazani will likely have to search for a new club in the summer transfer window, as it is still unclear as to whether Farke is willing to give him another chance.

The German felt he was unneeded this season, and after a mediocre spell in the Spanish top flight it would be hard to see how that changed.

A stay at Valencia would have been ideal for the LS11 side, but one of the reasons the Spanish outfit are unwilling to keep him may showcase why Leeds want rid.

According to AS, Valencia decided not to pursue a permanent deal for Ramazani due to the Belgian’s poor attitude.

It has been said that “his attitude was the final straw for the coaches and his teammates.”

The report also shares that “he failed to fulfill the tactical duties assigned during the week, and his physical performance left much to be desired.”

Valencia are unlikely to pursue a move for Ramazani, although it is not entirely ruled out. Nonetheless, Ramazani still has interest from Norwich, but reports of his attitude could very well put teams off.

What is the status on Leeds’ other loanees?

Leeds have plenty of other players out on loan, and it remains to be seen what comes of them in the future.

Unfortunately, Mateo Joseph is likely to stay at Elland Road due to sustaining an ACL injury in the final months of the season.

Joe Gelhardt could look to remain at Hull City after he helped guide the Tigers back to the Premier League for next season.

Jack Harrison did little to impress at Fiorentina, with it highly unlikely that move will be made permanent. While Maximilian Wober’s injury issues on loan make his stay at Werder Bremen likely to move no further than last season’s loan.

The Bundesliga outfit are also unlikely to keep Isaac Schmidt as well.
