Anton Stach is now Leeds United’s most-valuable player as Jaka Bijol value drops
Anton Stach’s importance at Leeds United is evident once more after the release of new valuations.
The German has been sidelined recently with an injury, but that has done little to prevent him from soaring in the rankings.
Stach has been extremely important to Daniel Farke’s side as they now look almost assured for Premier League safety.
The Whites, however, have not been missing his presence in the midfield too much, with others stepping up to the plate.
Of course, as Leeds eye the upcoming transfer window, they will not want to lose any key assets, and the rising prices could allow them that opportunity.

How much is Anton Stach now worth at Leeds?
Stach has been a revelation for Leeds ever since signing, and the German becoming the most valuable player at Elland Road will not come as a surprise.
With Stach rising in value, he has now toppled Jaka Bijol off the top spot heading into the closing weeks of the season.
| Anton Stach’s transfer to Leeds | Total |
| Transfer package | £17m |
| Contract expiry | 2029 |
| Wages per week | £45,000 |
According to the CIES Football Observatory’s fair market value, Stach is now Leeds’ most valuable asset, worth between £15.6million and £18.2m.
Slovenian defender Bijol had previously held top spot with a valuation between £16.4m and £19m. However, with his estimation above Stach’s, that does mean his value has dropped.
This is despite Bijol becoming a key member of Farke’s starting squad recently, starting the last six matches in all competitions for the LS11 outfit.

Jaka Bijol turnaround has earmarked Leeds’ survival
Farke has been full of praise for Bijol, most recently highlighting him as “captain” material.
It comes as no surprise that the Whites’ strong defensive form comes with the return of the Slovenian international into the starting lineup.
Over the last five Premier League matches, Leeds have kept three clean sheets, conceding just two goals.
Farke stated about Bijol after facing Manchester United: “He is a very professional player who looks after himself, but obviously also very intelligent, smart player and also a fantastic human being, fantastic character.”

The central defender has been linked with numerous moves away, and despite the drop in value, there is no drop in his importance to the Elland Road side.
His partnership alongside Pascal Struijk and James Justin in a back three has been simply immense. Hopefully, there is plenty more to come.
