Andre arrival could allow Leeds United to revert to possession-based style, and succeed
Andre has been linked to Leeds United, and the signing would make a lot of sense if Daniel Farke is aiming to revert to his control-based style.
Back in November, Farke threw out his blueprint as the Whites were putting out relegation form performances and bringing relegation form results.
The German was under pressure, and he made the right moves to turn the ship by making his side more physical and direct with their play.
However, the Elland Road manager will no doubt still have his preference to play football the way he feels it should be played.
A Leeds transfer for Andre would certainly allow that to happen, and his data showcases why.

How Andre could help Daniel Farke succeed in possession-based style
To dominate games, Farke will need midfielders who do not often lose the ball and have strong passing qualities, and links to Andre begin to make sense for Leeds then.
That sums up the profile of Andre to a tee. The 13-cap Brazilian is known for his safety in possession and his ability to recycle play.
| Andre’s Wolves contract | Total |
| Expiry | June 2029 |
| Wages per week | £60,000 |
Over the season, Andre has maintained 91 per cent passing accuracy and only loses the ball 6.6 times on average per game.
In comparison to Ethan Ampadu, who typically serves as Farke’s midfield general, that is a huge difference.
The Welsh international’s passing accuracy stands at 85 per cent, while he loses possession 12.8 times per match – more than double Andre’s total as per Sofascore.
While Ampadu is unlikely to come out of the midfield, a partnership of the Leeds captain and Andre could be an effective possession-based duo.
The Brazilian, however, does often pick up yellow cards, with a total of 10 received this season.

Leeds would need to bring creativity from elsewhere on the pitch
Although Andre is a reliable passer and midfielder general, the Brazilian does not often help in the final third.
Creativity is not his game by any stretch of the word. This season, the Wolves ace has created just one big chance and provided zero assists.
Overall, his role would be to simply sit in the middle, collect the ball at any opportunity and make himself available at all times to receive it.
Andre would be a safety net in the midfield, and the interest in him makes you think that Farke is eyeing a return to the style that nearly got him sacked.
However, with the 24-year-old in the centre of the field, it may actually work this time.
