West Ham vs Leeds United preview: Team news, likely lineups and score prediction
West Ham United welcome Leeds United to the London Stadium for both sides’ final match of the 2025-26 Premier League season.
It has been a fantastic season for Daniel Farke’s side, who can proudly say that they will be a top-flight club once again next term.
The Whites have embarked on a sensational run since returning from the international break, allowing them to secure survival with three to go.
For West Ham, on the other hand, they are desperate for three points, with a two-point gap separating themselves and Tottenham in 17th.
As Leeds look to end their season on a high, they could have a huge say in the ongoing battle for survival.

For the Hammers, they remain frustrated, having spent only two weeks out of the bottom three in 2026.
After climbing out via wins against Wolves and Everton last month, the Irons have slipped back into the bottom three as a result of a draw and three successive defeats.
Leeds on the other hand, remain unbeaten in eight, with their win against Brighton on Sunday seeing Farke’s side win four out of their last six.

Head-to-head
Historically, Leeds have had the better of West Ham, with 47 wins to 23.
This is the case once again in the Premier League, though they have won just once at the London Stadium since returning to the top flight in 2020.
| West Ham | Leeds | |
| Wins | 6 | 16 |
| Draws | 5 | 5 |
| Goals scored | 44 | 26 |
This season, though, Leeds did pick up a win in East London, as they beat West Ham 4-2 on penalties to book their spot in the FA Cup semi-final.
Team news and predicted lineups
Leeds have been hit by a number of injury problems, with key man Anton Stach picking up an ankle issue in the win over Brighton.
Stach is still considered a doubt, although the problem is not believed to be as serious as first feared. Even so, Daniel Farke may decide not to risk the midfielder, especially with a possible World Cup call-up on the horizon.
That could prompt a slight tactical reshuffle from Farke, with Lukas Nmecha potentially coming in to partner Dominic Calvert-Lewin in attack, while Brenden Aaronson operates just behind them.
James Justin and Daniel James may continue as wing-backs, with both Jayden Bogle and Gabriel Gudmundsson unavailable.

Defensively, Sebastiaan Bornauw is expected to remain alongside Jaka Bijol and Joe Rodon in the back line, while Pascal Struijk is still out.
Ilia Gruev, Struijk and Noah Okafor are all confirmed absentees for an already stretched Leeds squad.
Although Leeds have little more than pride to play for, Farke will still want his side to make the most of the occasion and end the season on a high with victory over West Ham.
As for Nuno and West Ham, Adama Traore is the only confirmed absentee heading into the final day.
However, Nuno does have a major call to make in attack, with Taty Castellanos catching the eye off the bench against Newcastle last weekend.
West Ham began in a 3-4-3 in that game, but the Hammers found it difficult with Callum Wilson leading the line alone, which could persuade Nuno to use the two forwards together against Leeds.
West Ham man to watch: Crysencio Summerville
Though he has dropped off in recent weeks, former Leeds man Crysencio Summerville has been talismanic for West Ham in their battle for survival.
As Whites fans well know, the Dutchman is full of energy, while he has the ability to turn a game on its head in a matter of moments.
With the Hammers battling for their lives, he will be the man they look to if they are to steal a result on Sunday.
We say: West Ham 2-1 Leeds
Sunday is a difficult one to predict, given the precarious position that West Ham find themselves in.
However, the Irons will be absolutely gunning for three points, and while it may not be enough with them relying on an Everton win against Spurs, they will be looking to make the most out of the opportunity against a Leeds side whose own survival was secured a matter of weeks ago.
