Noah Okafor’s record in away games for Leeds United could be crucial when they face Bournemouth.

Premier League survival is only a whisker away for the Whites, and should they avoid defeat against Bournemouth, they will take one huge step closer to achieving it.

There’s a case to be made that Leeds could fail to pick up another point this season and still stay up, though Daniel Farke will certainly not be of that mindset with five games to go.

Instead, he will be targeting three points on the road for only the third time this season when Leeds face Bournemouth.

And with Okafor’s recent form for Leeds, he will have the most important role to play.

The Swiss international has caught fire at the perfect time in the season, with five goal involvements in his last three appearances for the Whites.

He’s scored in both of his last two away outings for the Whites, and with 10 goal involvements this season, it’s now his third-best campaign in his career.

Daniel Farke’s history with Bournemouth is also on the line

Farke has done an excellent job this season, and the sky really is the limit for his Leeds side ahead of the final five games.

But a win against the Cherries would not only be huge for their chances of survival, but it would also see the German extend his own personal record against them.

Farke has never lost a game against Bournemouth in the Premier League, with one win and two draws from his three encounters.

They are the only side he’s faced and not suffered defeat against in the top flight, alongside Brentford, after three meetings.
