Leeds United: When Premier League safety can finally be confirmed at Elland Road
Leeds United are remaining patient for their Premier League place to be safe.
The Whites have had a mixed campaign, but will feel as though they have been good enough to avoid a return to the Championship.
A tactical change earlier in the campaign from Daniel Farke unlocked his side’s true potential and worked wonders to drag them away from the drop zone.
There have been some frustrating moments since the turn of the year that have ultimately delayed confirmation of safety at Elland Road, despite recent excellent form.
Leeds still have Premier League games remaining against Tottenham, Brighton and West Ham, while they wait to seal their place in the top tier.

Leeds United have all eyes on West Ham
The recent three points against Burnley has ultimately seen the Whites move seven points clear of the bottom three with three games to go.
That marked yet another important win, following excellent victories against Wolves and Manchester United.
| Date | Opponent | Result |
| 01/05/26 | Burnley | 3-1 (W) |
| 26/04/26 | Chelsea (FA Cup) | 1-0 (L) |
| 22/04/26 | Bournemouth | 2-2 (D) |
| 18/04/26 | Wolves | 3-0 (W) |
| 13/04/26 | Manchester United | 2-1 (W) |
As positive as those results were, they haven’t quite allowed Leeds to celebrate Premier League safety.
Daniel Farke is still waiting on West Ham’s progress to know whether the Whites will be guaranteed a spot among the elite next season.
The Hammers are preparing to host Arsenal on Sunday, and if they don’t get at least a point, Leeds will confirm their place in the Premier League.

A draw or the most unlikely of wins would keep the Whites waiting until the Monday when Leeds travel to face Tottenham in North London.
Leeds could seal Premier League safety vs Tottenham
It feels likely that Nuno Espirito Santo’s side will taste defeat against the Gunners as their hunt for the title continues at the London Stadium.
Football can move in mysterious ways, so the relegation-fighting Irons may just grab a surprise point or three.
That would leave Leeds in need of just a draw away to Tottenham and a point on the board to make sure of a Premier League place for next season.

If Spurs take victory in that clash, it then goes on to the next game, where all eyes will be on an away day for the LS11 outfit at Brighton before West Ham face Newcastle.
Avoiding relegation is almost a dead cert at this time, but there are still plenty of ups and downs that could take place before the campaign ends.
