Leeds United vs Brighton: Supercomputer predicts result of Elland Road clash
Leeds United will aim to end their home campaign on a high when Brighton and Hove Albion visit Elland Road.
It has been a fine season for the Whites, whose Premier League survival was confirmed on Sunday.
Daniel Farke’s side then travelled to Tottenham the following day and extended their unbeaten run with a 1-1 draw.
Since returning from last month’s international break, Leeds have hit form, taking three wins and two draws from five league games to pull clear of the drop zone.
They now host a Brighton side chasing Europe and arriving in strong form of their own.

Supercomputer predicts Leeds run to come to an end vs Brighton
Leeds have continued to grow throughout the campaign and, by its close, look every inch a seasoned top-flight outfit.
Capable of locking horns with anyone, whether at Elland Road or on their travels, Farke and his side deserve immense credit for the way they have settled.
| Result | Likelihood |
| Leeds win | 31.9% |
| Draw | 24.7% |
| Brighton win | 43.4% |
Though the recent run could be set to end on Sunday, based on figures from Opta’s supercomputer’s latest set of predictions.
Handed a 31.9 per cent chance of taking three points, Leeds are deemed underdogs, while Brighton’s likelihood sits at 43.4 per cent.
On the other hand, the Whites were considered firm underdogs last time out against Tottenham, with the Lilywhites carrying a 50.9 per cent chance of victory.
But, once again, Farke’s side proved just how capable they are at this level as they picked up a result on the road.
Leeds cannot end up on the beach just yet
With safety confirmed, the central goal for the season has been achieved.
However, Leeds cannot let off just yet, with the chance there to end the season a high, and carry the momentum into next season.
The supercomputer’s verdict suggests that 14th will be the final position, though there are still places up for grabs.

With two to spare, the Whites are still capable of climbing up to 10th in the standings, and while this is a long shot, further progression up the standings would provide further proof as to the readiness of Leeds at this level.
Over the summer, Farke will be looking to add to his Leeds squad in the hope of potentially joining the European picture next term.
A strong finish to the season would only aid that, with a decent finishing position showing intent ahead of the coming years.
