Leeds United primed to send West Ham to Championship as all-time Premier League away record emerges
Leeds United will have a deciding say in who gets relegated between Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham, with the Whites facing the latter.
Daniel Farke will be thrilled his side have avoided falling into the situation that the two London outfit’s have found themselves in.
The goal for the German this season was survival, and he has managed to do so excellently. Farke is now looking to increase expectations as he admitted new goals must be made.
Chiefs at Elland Road have since agreed with the head coach, and talks are planned to get underway.
However, before any plans get structured and put into place, the final match of Leeds’ season is still to come, and the Whites should feel confident.

Why Leeds could buck poor away-form trend against West Ham
Leeds’ Elland Road form has been the backbone of their survival this season, but as the Whites prepare to face West Ham, the opposite is true this time around.
On the road, Leeds has been quite poor, sitting in 18th on the away form table and securing just two wins from 18 games.
| Leeds Premier League positions | Position |
| Full table | 14th |
| Home form table | 8th |
| Away form table | 18th |
However, against no side have Leeds won more Premier League away games than versus West Ham United – with a total of seven.
Although the Whites’ last trip to London Stadium did not end too well, with Leeds losing 3-1 in May 2023.
It remains to be seen how strong Farke goes with his team selection. Leeds have nothing to play for, and some members of the squad may be looking to protect themselves ahead of the World Cup.
However, others such as Dominic Calvert-Lewin could be eyeing a chance to improve their numbers.
Nonetheless, for those travelling fans, they may end up witnessing a win based on the above statistic, with West Ham being a favoured away opposition.

Could Leeds’ away form halt future aspirations?
While this season it did not have too much effect on their survival in the Premier League, if Leeds are to go more ambitious, they will have to address their issues away from Elland Road.
Two wins away from LS11 from 18 games is not a sustainable level for sides looking to finish in those higher positions and even European places.
If the Whites can get a win over the line this weekend, it would certainly be a good note to end the season on in that regard.
Leeds could achieve a 23-year first against West Ham as well, so there might actually be something to play for.
