Leeds United have learnt how much prize money they can reportedly expect to bank from their 2025-26 Premier League campaign.

Leeds have been praised for their financial management in recent times, with the 49ers striking a good balance of being sensible but ambitious in how they invest money into the football club.

Well, as published in a fresh report from The Athletic, and as shared by their football finance writer Chris Weatherspoon via X, it’s been a very good year for Leeds in this department.

The report reveals that Leeds have taken home a prize money fund of £144.5m from their Premier League exploits in 2025-26, which has them 14th in the table.

Below them are: Wolves (20th, £117.7m), Burnley (19th, £118.1m), West Ham (18th, £128.6m), Tottenham (17th, £135.8m), Nottingham Forest (16th, £137.1m) and Crystal Palace (15th, £137.5m) respectively.

The report claims that by their calculations centred around information from various club sources across the top flight, that the Premier League will dish out over £3bn in prize money across the 20 teams for the first ever time.

Leeds had 28 games broadcast on television last season, and thus have reportedly received a £31.9m equal share figure, whilst also picking up £18.3m from facility fees and £12m in merit payments, all of which has been generated via the United Kingdom.

Meanwhile, the Whites have reportedly collected £56.5m from equal share revenue and £14.3m as a merit payment from the international revenue stream.

Then they’ve reportedly earned £11.5m from central commercial revenue, taking their grand prize money total to £144.5m.
