Phil Hay has shared Jesse Marsch's quotes after the Leeds United v Manchester City game regarding Stuart Dallas' injury.

The Northern Irishman needed to be stretchered off in the 4-0 defeat against the Premier League leaders.

In the post-match press conference, surely the American was going to be asked about his condition.

Hay shared, via his personal Twitter account, Hay wrote, "Marsch on Dallas: 'We don't think it's good with his knee. With where we are in the season, we'll miss him very much because he's the heart and soul of the group and one of the guys who's a leader.'

"He's had a scan. Marsch: 'I don't want to say too much yet but it's not great'."

Hope he's fine

Dallas did not look great during the game and we can only hope he's fine.

Marsch's words are certainly not as assuring as one would like them to be.

This means that there's a very good chance that Dallas may have played his last game of the season.

It's a huge blow and the last thing the American would have wanted at this stage of the season.

How the Whites recover from this remains to be seen as he can play in virtually any position for them.

Marsch has counted on his utility man time and again since he took over the reins and unfortunately, there is no other player in that squad that can replace him.
