Leeds United will be hoping that Noah Okafor is fully fit for their clash with Bournemouth.

Bournemouth travel to face Leeds on Saturday, with both sides looking to build on what has been a bright start to the campaign.

Leeds secured a 3-1 victory against Wolves last time out, while the Cherries were forced to settle for a draw against Newcastle.

However, in the build-up to Saturday's game, Leeds had several injury concerns, though they seem to have provided a major hint towards one of them with a post shared via X.

Will Noah Okafor be fit for Leeds vs Bournemouth

Goals had been a concern for Leeds at the start of the campaign, and those fears were amplified when both Willy Gnonto and Dan James were missing from the squad that won at Molineux.

If that wasn't concerning enough, Noah Okafor was spotted limping off against Wolves after being withdrawn in the latter stages of the clash.

Okafor's stats vs Wolves

  • One goal from 0.15 xG
  • 14 dribbles attempted
  • Eight duels won
  • Two fouls won

Daniel Farke provided little clarity over his situation, but confirmed that James and Jayden Bogle are likely to be okay against Bournemouth.

Now, it seems like it will be the same case with Okafor, who features in Leeds' very authentic matchday graphic.

Okafor made Premier League history last weekend, and his availability may prove to be crucial to Leeds' chances of getting a result this weekend.

Leeds need to replicate Wolves creativity

Bournemouth are going to pose a far bigger challenge than Wolves did, even with the Elland Road crowd to attend to.

If that is the case, Leeds need to ensure that they don't allow any lapses of concentration, just as they did for Wolves' opening goal last time out.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has shown that he will thrive off good service, and with Okafor and James seemingly available against the Cherries, they will have no excuse not to provide him with it yet again.

Bournemouth may be favourites for Saturday's clash with Leeds, but the Whites have shown time and time again that their quality should not be underestimated, especially after an emphatic win away from home.
