Daniel Farke has confirmed that Leeds United duo Manor Solomon and Dan James are back in training ahead of the clash with Sheffield United.

The Blades travel to Elland Road on Friday (18 October) for their first clash after the October international break as the Whites look to get back to winning ways after their disappointing late draw to Sunderland last time out.

While it is not yet clear whether or not the likes of Ao Tanaka and Wilfried Gnonto will be ready to start having featured for their national sides, Farke did confirm that both James and Solomon are now back in the fold.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference as relayed by Beren Cross (16 October) he said: "James and Solomon were back in team training at the end of last week.

"Wober ahead of schedule. Hope he could be involved before the next break."

What has happened to Tottenham winger Manor Solomon on loan at Elland Road with Leeds United?

It is great news for Leeds United that two of their wide options are now back in training, especially as this game comes so quickly after the end of the international break.

Farke has been down to his barebones, particularly in attack in recent weeks and while it isn't yet clear just how ready both Solomon and James are to feature against the Blades, they seem to be nearing full fitness at this stage.

Hopefully, both wingers will be able to feature from the off at Elland Road on Friday night. Their pace and freshness would certainly give the Whites an extra dimension going forward that they have been missing at times this season.

Ultimately, the most important thing for Leeds is that they hit the ground running after the international break. Farke's side cannot afford to stumble back into form if they want to compete for automatic promotion this term.
