‘EFL conspiracy?’, ‘Absolutely stinks’ – These Leeds fans rage over Sky Sports update

Leeds United fans are less than impressed by seeing that Sky Sports have moved the time and date of their away trip to Swansea later this month.

When the Championship season restarted in June, Leeds were forced into playing away at Cardiff City at midday, which was less than ideal given the distance between the two clubs and the fact that hotels in Wales were not open.

As we all know, Leeds lost that match 2-0 thanks to two defensive errors and now fans are worried about a repeat of that game with their next trip to South Wales on July 12.

Leeds’ clash with Swansea now takes place on a Sunday with kick-off being at 1:30pm, with Sky Sports announcing more Championship fixtures that they will broadcast live.

Two of Leeds’ next three games will now be shown on Sky Sports.

Their game against Blackburn this weekend won’t be but the two following games – versus Stoke and Swansea – will be live on television.

Some Leeds fans have always believed that there is an EFL conspiracy against the club due to them being the most financially-beneficial club to the organisation.

One fan thinks that is happening again here by making an already-difficult away day even more difficult by making it kick-off at an earlier time.

We don’t believe in this conspiracy but it is so annoying to see this happen for the second time in the space of a few weeks with trips to South Wales.
