Tim Krul dubbed ‘awful’ by pundit as Leeds United find lucky streak to win at Norwich
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United.
Paul Robinson could not believe how unlucky Norwich were on Sunday when Leeds United won 2-1 against them at Carrow Road.
Raphinha’s first goal went through the legs of three players before it found its way into the back of the net. A goalkeeping clanger by Tim Krul then allowed Rodrigo to net his second goal in as many Premier League games.
Norwich are bottom of the Premier League table with just two points from their opening 10 games.

While Robinson has blasted Krul for his error, he couldn’t believe how lucky Raphinha was to see his goal go in through a crowd of players.
“It was awful goalkeeping by Tim Krul and he knows it,” ex-Leeds, Tottenham and England goalkeeper Robinson told MOT Leeds News.
“The ball did dip in front of him and it was an awkward one to deal with.
“I can see exactly how he let it in and was disappointed with but it was one that he should’ve saved from Rodrigo. But if you don’t buy a ticket, you don’t win the lottery and Leeds needed a bit of luck.

“When Norwich’s lucks down, your luck is down.
“When you look at Raphinha’s goal, how that went in the goal, it had three nutmegs. I don’t know how it went in.
“If you look at it, it went through Ozan Kabak’s legs and then Krul’s legs and then Grant Hanley’s legs. It was a triple nutmeg.
“That shows you how bad Norwich’s luck is at the moment.”
