Sky Sports pundit rates Leeds United chances of signing Christian Eriksen as speculation emerges
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United...
Leeds United have “no chance” of signing Christian Eriksen despite him being linked with a move to Elland Road this summer, according to Paul Robinson.
CBS journalist Ben Jacobs reported on The Football Terrace on 23 June that Leeds are interested in signing the 30-year-old Denmark international, whose contract at Brentford expires at the end of this month.
Jacobs said that plenty of Premier League clubs are keen on Eriksen and added that Leeds have more chance of signing the Danish playmaker than his former club Tottenham.

Robinson, who played for Leeds and Spurs, finds that hard to believe and he feels Eriksen will either stay in London at Spurs or Brentford or head to Manchester United.
“It’s a pipe dream, they’ve got no chance of signing him,” Robinson told MOT Leeds News.
“Yes, as much as Leeds are a big club, they’re not competing with Tottenham and Manchester United for players’ signatures.
“Tottenham are offering Champions League football and Man United are offering Europa League football and they’re also one of the biggest clubs in the world.
“As much as it’s nice to be linked with players like that. I can’t see it being anything more than just a link.
“I don’t see at all where the link is with Eriksen and Leeds. Jesse Marsch has got no relevance to Eriksen, he’s got no relevance to the city whatsoever and can Leeds offer what Man United, Tottenham and Brentford can offer? Probably not.
“I don’t see any legs in that.”

Eriksen joined Brentford on a short-term deal in January after he was released by Inter Milan.
He capped a stunning comeback from his on-pitch cardiac arrest at the European Championships at the West London club, appearing 11 times in the Premier League, scoring one goal and supplying four assists.
In other Leeds United news, documents have been exchanged for this player to leave Leeds after two weeks of going back and forth.
