Paul Robinson reacts to ‘massive’ return of Leeds United defender Robin Koch
Paul Robinson has insisted that Robin Koch has to string numerous Leeds United appearances together after returning from injury.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, the ex-Whites stopper admitted it was of “massive” importance to get players back available.
Koch made only his second start of the season in the 4-1 defeat against Arsenal after being ruled out with through injury.

“He’s going to have to play centre-half with the absentees that they’ve got,” he exclusively told MOT Leeds News.
“For him, it’s stringing games together and staying fit for a length of time, because he hasn’t been able to do that since he’s come.
“It’s important that he stays fit and in the team between now and the end of the season, any kind of player coming back into that team is going to be a massive importance due to the sheer amount of players missing.
“Whether that’s coincidence or down to the way the manage trains them, whatever reason it is.”

First of many?
Hopefully, the return of Koch can be the first of many between now and the end of the year for the Whites.
Marcelo Bielsa has far too many absentees, and Robinson is right to question if it has something to do with training at Thorp Arch.
It is so important that Koch can stay fit now, the Whites need the German to consistently keep his spot in the Premier League.
There is no questioning it, Bielsa and the Whites simply can’t afford to have him picking up another injury or it could start to look like a waste of money for the defender.
