Paul Robinson delivers verdict on Leeds United star Kalvin Phillips after England win v Denmark
We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United
Paul Robinson is worried Leeds United will be tested with a “really big bid” for Kalvin Phillips this summer with the midfielder continuing to impress for England.
Phillips, 25, played all 120 minutes of England’s extra-time win against Denmark on Wednesday night as the Three Lions progressed to the European Championships final for the first time ever.
England will play Italy in the final at Wembley on Sunday night in a bid to make history and win major silverware for the first time since the 1966 World Cup.

Phillips has played a major role in that and while Robinson is delighted to see the Leeds star shining at the Euros, he’s concerned an offer will come in that could turn the Yorkshire club’s head.
Speaking to MOT Leeds News, the former goalkeeper said: “I’m worried a big bid will come in from someone else.
“Other teams were looking at him before the tournament but now he’s put himself right in the shop window.
“Leeds could be tested with a really big bid for him. He’s been outstanding.”

Last month, TuttoJuve reported that a number of top clubs are interested in Phillips.
The Italian website reported that Manchester City, Tottenham, Juventus and Real Madrid had all shown an interest in the Yorkshire Pirlo.
We doubt Leeds will be easily convinced to sell Phillips while the Leeds-born lad and boyhood White may also find it tough to bid farewell to Elland Road.
In other Leeds United news, the Whites want to sign this 35-cap international more than any other club this summer.
