We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United
Paul Robinson has said that Marcelo Bielsa has found his home at Leeds and that with a decent budget in the summer he can make the club a real force in the Premier League.
Bielsa talked extensively about his future at Leeds this week and said that if Leeds wanted an answer before the end of the season then he would give one.
Bielsa said the fact Leeds want him to stay and he hasn't committed yet could make people think that he doesn't want to stay. "That's not the case. But I would like to make it clear that Leeds as a project surpasses me as a coach."

He has been involved in talks about transfers for the summer already and the thinking from all sides is that Bielsa will stay with Leeds for at least another season.
Talking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Robinson said, “There’s a real rapport with Bielsa and Leeds United, it seems like he’s finally found somewhere where he’s really enjoying working and that he’s got a real tie to.
“He’s having to spend a lot of time away from his family but he’s a workaholic and it’s something that he seems to have a real passion for.
“He’s found a home at Leeds and I think the feeling’s mutual.
“He only ever signs 12-month contracts and that always gives him the option to leave but he’s talking about players for next season and he’s already planning a new assault on the Premier League.
“He can see what he’s got already and with new investment for the team, if he gets a decent budget then he can really turn Leeds into a force next season.
Leeds have already added real quality to their squad, with Raphinha and Rodrigo joining last summer.
It’s exciting to think about Leeds getting another injection of 3-4 international-level players, and the rest of the squad improving more under one of the best coaches in the world.
