Leeds United: 'Unbelievable' Stuart Dallas update blows Sky Sports pundit away

We’re delighted to welcome former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson as our exclusive columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United…

Paul Robinson is thrilled to hear that Leeds United ace Stuart Dallas is ahead of schedule in his recovery from a fractured femur and expects him to return before this season finishes.

Dallas, 31, has been out of action since the end of April after suffering a serious leg injury against Manchester City.

The Northern Ireland midfielder was left hospitalised and it is unknown when exactly he’ll be able to return to action for Leeds.

MOT Leeds News has learned, however, that Dallas is making rapid progress and despite having some setbacks in his recovery, he’ll still set to return sooner than many behind the scenes at Leeds expected.

Robinson is a big fan of Dallas and cannot wait to see the ex-Brentford player return to action for Jesse Marsch.

He’s been full of praise for the versatile midfielder’s hard work in recovering from what is one of the most serious injuries a footballer can suffer.

Speaking to MOT Leeds News, the former goalkeeper said: “Stuart Dallas is making very good progress and will make a return at some point this season, which is very good.

It’s a credit to him, [he’s shown an] unbelievable attitude and dedication for what he’s done.”

Dallas signed for Leeds in August 2015 and has since made 267 appearances in all competitions for the West Yorkshire club.

He’s played on both wings, as a central midfielder and in both full-back roles for the Whites so it remains to be see what role Marsch has in mind for him when he does eventually return.
